A couple weeks ago, I started reading David Charlesworth’s book, “Furniture-making Techniques.” I have to say that it is making a major impact on my woodworking. I had previously purchased a few hand planes, but had very limited success with them. Once I started following his teachings, things are certainly turning around for me. I have now started watching his videos, which were sponsored by Lie-Nielsen. Although not as entertaining as the thewoodwhisperer, they are very informative. I’m now in the process of ordering his other books and videos – based on the reviews, I’m confident that it will be money well spent.
